WTF DOES “OG KPOP STAN” EVEN MEAN?!
Supposedly “original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation”, personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓
I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music were my coping mechanisms from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and my love for the genre has stuck by me ever since.
Unfortunately, I took a huge break from Korean music around 2015 when I was officially diagnosed with lupus nephritis and seizures; I was receiving and battling years of chemotherapy and dialysis along with taking 32 pills a day, so I had no mental/emotional/spiritual room to keep myself updated with the genre. Luckily, I’m in remission now! Doesn’t mean that lupus and seizures are gone because I am still very capable of frequent flare-ups of I don’t take care of myself, but I make sure to do so enough to manage and live as “normally” as possible.
When I made this YouTube name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so hence the cringe-worthy title, OG KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear— me calling myself an “OG kpop stan” does NOT mean that anyone who’s listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

This song is iconic especially since every Once in the world hears this word 이상하게 (isanghage) as ‘Is Sana gay?’ Once you’ve heard it that way you can never unhear it.
you’re definitely not the only one who gets emotional or feels like crying during this song or other heartwarming twice songs! i still get overwhelmed (in a good way) by this song to this day

I feel like it’s such an underrated TWICE song when it’s a really warm song that talk about TWICE talking about each other and their fans, I for one cried while looking at the lyrics and the whole mood.

This is one of my favourite TWICE songs 🥺 It’s filled with such pure and wholesome joy, and while the dance isn’t their most complex choreo it’s so fun and sweet! 🥰
Aww I love how just like me you’re not into cutesy music but know how to appreciate the happiness and joy twice music radiates … I think it’s mostly bcz they’re not faking it or trying too hard to be cute … it’s their natural charm 🥺

I actually know every Twice’s point choreography since debut until the latest. And everytime they comeback it gets harder and harder😂😂😂 as far as i know, Twice suits any concepys they do. They are very versatile. Thanks Tina for giving us good contents…
About the choreography, JYP always tries to make an easy to follow dance and they, most of the time, incorpore the lyrics to the dance.
