Sometimes isn’t for respect, sometimes its just to not being banned like other artists, coz Jakarta dont have a real “freedom” to choose outfits for performances.

i’m pretty sure in some countries, global artistes are legally required to cover up/dress modestly in order to perform in those said countries.
This is why I love Twice. They always make sure to respect other peoples cultural backgrounds.❤

Some of the outfits actually look better this way imo, like the black and white one with the silver accents looks FIRE with those black meshes!!!
I think it’s more to not get cancelled. Cuz they have strict regulations there.

I’m from Indonesia and honestly the reason is just not valid. If muslims don’t want to see them just don’t buy the tickets. There are more non-muslims watching when I was there.
