about TWICE in Japan: while their Korean albums obviously sell better, twice definitely earns a looooot of money from Japan. I don’t wanna go into detail right now, but basically they have always released quality music in Jpn + they have a lot of fans + they’re really popular with the general public as well
Twice is actually very famous in Japan that’s why they also have to release songs there. They love J-Once as well. We are a well fed fandom tbh
twice’s japanese albums sells really good since they have huge fanbase there and like by the general public ever since their song TT became a smash hit there.
The interpretation of the “Sunflower” in MV is about Looking on Brighter side. They say young sunflowers looks up where the sun is and when the time that sunflower blooms they decide on where they follow the light. Just like the part of the MV that the sunflower look on our POV presenting that We Once are Twice Sunshines.
Also you will notice on this MV that there are some part that dark just like Nayeon’s line intro evem the part that they are sleeping, even jeongyeon and tzuyu who look lost in a forest representing they are finding their Sunshine that will make them better.
