It hurts my heart how disgusting and cruel people can be. I feel like I’m constantly praying for peace and guidance as to how to combat and protect myself as well as others.

I truly want to thank Dr. Gervey for sharing her story. I can relate only too well. She helped to validate my own feelings. When you’re being told these things in that type of situation it leaves you confused and questioning yourself. You’re pretty much told that you need to respect the system and your feelings have nothing to do with things.

Why can’t we all just get along, what’s with all that hate? In my opinion, it takes a whole lot of energy to walk around with hatred and people are not being prosecuted for the dastardly act against another HUMAN.

Don’t nobody dare tell me there is no rasism in today’s society because I will go the F off! This is discussing to hear that person, a human being , a person I share the same air with could actually do such a thing. I’m disgusted and ashamed for this “man” and I wish nothing but the best for this woman and may she heal from this traumatic experience.
