I really enjoyed “Eyes Wide Open.” It was the album that finally got me into Twice, and somehow made me appreciate their earlier music more. “Hell in Heaven” is easily my favorite track on the album, its got this playful feel to the backing music, yet a sense of longing or melancholy to the vocals. I love the interconnected nature of the track, the array of little bites of sound that form its whole, and how the vocals get woven into the mix. It all adds up to one of my favorite tracks of(maybe my favorite things about) 2020.

aah, Twice hasn’t been featured on this series in a while right? at least not that i remember. anyway, it makes me super happy ❤ even more so because i saw like 8 Twice songs that are being considered for possible being reacted to ❤
I think the instrument is a kalimba because kalimba right now its kinda a popular instrument in there because its easy to carry kalimba everywhere
*this has got to be one of the most unique song in twice discography, the fact that it has no main synth melody like other kpop songs besides the congo and percussion drums and the minimal sounds and drums on the chorus while the girls sang so calmly makes it even more unique..it’s like “make me go” and “Love Foolish” in the jungle 🔥🔥🔥*
Eyes Wide Open and Dystopia: The Tree of Language are AOTY for me.
I really love TWICE’s latests albuns (Fancy You, Feel Special, &TWICE, More & More, Eyes Wide Open), this isn’t even the best to me and is still super amazing. I think is also cool to mention that even though this song wasn’t wrote by a member, other 6 songs were, and the other albuns were almost all songs composed by them.
You should really consider making more of those (if you already isn’t), B-Sides like Up No More, Love Foolish, Strawberry, Say Something, Trick It, HOT, Get Loud, Oxygen are really interesting!
It took a while before i got hooked in twice music… don’t get me wrong, their famous releases are A BOP…but it was not really my cup of tea. Eyes wide open literally OPENED MY EYES WIDE in amazement. I was so impressed by their album! And then a follow up for cry for me?! Wait hold up–
It’s been so long since y’all reacted to T W I C E. wished they reacted to feel special but this is still really fun !!

Can we sit a second to talk how good is this album ? Like I always was a fan of Twice, being there everytime they comebacked, but I never listened to their B-side bc I wasn’t convinced by their early mini-albums but OMG this album just made me fall in love completly with Twice. Going from ICSM, to Hell in Heaven to Up No More justmade me speechless ! I can’t wait to see their next release <3
