In this episode of “Minutes With” we sat down with Jihyun, an incredibly brave woman who escaped North Korea twice.
Jihyun takes us through what life was really like in North Korea, how she manages to escape twice, and how he ended up being sold in to sex slavery in China. Jihyun is one of the most remarkable people we have ever had on the show. We asked Jihyun what she would like to promote in the top comment and she said she only wanted to say the following: “North Korean dictators do not want the light to enter the North Koreans , but I accuse the North Korean regime of the cruel acts they have committed by the North Korean regime for the freedom of the North Korean people and the liberation of slaves.”

I feel like her level of badassery cannot be expressed in human words.
She is one lucky person. Imagine how many people try to escape North Korea daily and fail.
I’m glad that she’s safe now.
To me it seems like a miracle how she survived and were able to escape from an excruciating life like this. I hope she found a happy life and peace of mind

I’ve watched all of these interviews and this woman’s story is by far the most inspiring and emotional. What a true act of resilience and determination. She deserves all the happiness life can give to her
Why does her story sound just like the other woman who escaped NK twice?
That’s how communist works. And what worse is people/organizations are afraid to talk about these stuff. Look at Ozil speaking about the china concentration camps then being benched forever, Lebron telling Daryl Morey to shut up about HK’s protest against China.
If you have to shoot at your civilians to keep them from leaving then that speaks volumes about how bad your country is
Now do this with a Chinese Muslim
I see now how ungrateful North America is after watching this. How much conflict people willingly seek out when their lives are already peaceful, that’s true insanity.
Puts what I call having a bad day into perspective
Her entire life is a good movie to watch.
There are two good things in life – freedom of thought and freedom of action.
This woman needs a movie deal.
You know im form venezuela and sometimes im like “Yeah my life is in hard mode”
But then i look at this kind of people, this woman is going on ultra hardcore mode in life like a champ, what a bad ass lady changing her son life and hers
She is an inspiration, her son is gonna be a wonderful person with her as model
How lucky are we to live as we do. Hard to imagine how many millions of people are living in these conditions.
