My Pittie boy, Chevy, was returned to the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter twice. He had been listed in the newspaper, featured on the morning news program, and even been a Grand Mashall in a pet Mardi Gras parade in the French Quarter called Krewe of Barkus. No one adopted him. Finally I saw him at the Parade of Homes Show in the Superdome. He’s a wonderful, sweet, loyal, and friendly boy. I love him.
Whoever wants a dog but their family members aren’t allowing them or they have a small apartment
Glad they figured out she’s a people pibble, some of them just don’t vibe with other dogs, especially females. No matter how many times you say good girl, it’s ok, they’re plotting a murder 😂😂

The dog has so much energy but is so shy! 🥺❤️
The dog aggression is likely why she was returned. I understand needing to protect your other animals from an agitated dog that is displaying clear intent to attack, and imagine the fallout if a child tried to step between them and Raven bit the child by accident. We can post the “how dare they return this sweet girl” comments all day long, but not all adoptions work out. The owners realized that she wasn’t a fit for their households, and did the right thing by giving her the chance to find her fit.
He’s a good doge, you just got to learn him something!
