ABOUT ME:
– I’m Cambodian and Chinese.
– I was born in November of 1983 and raised in Houston, although my heart lays in between Houston and Hawaii.
– “OG KPOP STAN”: I’ve always used the term “OG” (supposedly “original gangster”) to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it’s just stuck by me ever since. Also! Just to be clear: me calling myself an “OG kpop stan” doesn’t mean that anyone who’s listened to kpop later than me is inferior. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time.😄
– I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y’all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
– Yes, that’s Jack Sparrow’s ring that I always wear in my videos. I’ve been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

I can still remember the moment where onces were saying sorry in twitter and jihyo went to vlive+ chat. She thanked onces and comforted us and was asking why we were sorry. Then she told us to wait for their performance because they are going to give us a gift. And boooy, the gift is amazing in so many levels. Thank you so much TWICE.

Can we all appreciate the fact that Twice basically got about a dozen backup dancers for the sole purpose so that apple scene?! I guess if God Jihyo so commands, we have no choice but to comply. 😂😂
(Jihyo is the one eating the apple and the leader of Twice, btw)
Also, some context for the third song, “Cry For Me”: It was a new, previously unreleased song Twice debuted on MAMA without any prior warning or direct indication that they were going to do anything like that (aside from the finger “spoiler” and their initial two songs, especially “I Can’t Stop Me”, being cut so short). Moreover, they had initially said on social media that there weren’t any plans to release the song though they’ve since announced a change in plans and that they will be releasing it at least digitally after it blew up with people asking JYPE to do so.
“This song is so interesting” tells us about it. Nayeon made us beg to release Cry For Me and we’ve been watching this performance nonstop. Also, same reaction on Sana’s part.
My favorite part of this react is I can see genuine joy in your eyes as you watch, no doubt because you connect with them on a performer level as well. Thank you for reacting! Look forward to the studio pre release of Cry For Me! 😊
Also, if you didn’t know, Cry For Me was a gift to their fandom ONCE and supposedly was never planned for a studio release. Dont know how true this is or if Nayeon is clowning us as usual, but we appreciated it all the more.
