This video gets JYP more hate than he actually deserves dude. JYP let’s them eat but he’d rather them eat organically and healthy food, which people in Momo’s age isn’t exactly too fond of so they choose to eat whatever they’d like, so they gain weight. I don’t think they forced her to eat ice cubes tho(basically drinking water for a week) .The staff asked her to lose a lot of weight which is dumb but I’m guessing she went over the weight limit that was allowed for trainees. Which happens at that age but as a trainee, she should’ve been more disciplined. Like Jeongyeon, she said she was never banned once from the practice room because she was disciplined when it comes to dieting and stuff back then. They had to maintain a weight of 50kg and under at all times, which wouldn’t be needed if the fans and society didn’t make it seem like it was needed. To this day, when idols are seen gaining weight it becomes an issue. So that makes companies think “oh, we should make her lose weight.” Not just the company to blame but also the fans/public.The dating ban is so that they don’t do anything stupid while they’re at the peaks of their career, like get pregnant cause let’s be honest, idols or anyone at that age are very sexually active/curious. And so that they don’t get that type of hate that JYP knows exists when it comes to idols dating. I don’t think they’re not allowed to open their own accounts, I’m sure they have it, but they’re smarter that way to not share it because look at blackpink members, having their own accounts, they constantly get malicious comments. Twice members surely have personal accounts where they don’t have to worry about that.

I love JYP,, he’s amazing but he really need to give them solo actvities and sns by now. But i think “don’t talk about politics’ and ‘Bar” rules are good as situation can end up as something controversial

Twice unconsciously admit that they have personal accounts on twitter & IG.

I remember when Momo accidentally whispered that she and Nayeon has IGs.
While showing pictures on a Vlive, Momo said “I’m gonna tag Nayeon unnie”. After realising what she said, she gesture to once to be quiet. On the other hand, if we could recall their what Jihyo said about the Team Rocket meme “I saw those memes on twitter, Chaeyoung show it to us”, it was obvious who often use Twitter. And on a vlive, Jeongyeon stated that she doesn’t want to have other social media acc like the other members.

Personally, It’s actually good that they only have the group account open to public so they can enjoy their privacy. They always remind ONCE to protect their privacy. Twice had so many trouble dealing with dumbass people so it would be better if their private life and info a secret.

Still it’s their decision to show it on public or not.

Jyp is supposed to treat his idols the best out of all the labels though

You hinted some points but you forgot

that TWICE are handled by Division 3 (like they have their own company focused only to TWICE)
A “Company” is divided to groups, like the PRs, Creative writing, Management team, Production team. Thats where all the ideas go. It’s not a one man team. All the decisions are discussed deeply so they could find the best way to appeal on their audience.
Also, Twice contribute ideas to their contents. They were all part of the team.
You could spot this from their interviews and documentary, you could see how things work behind the scenes.

When JYP ordered to forbid them to go to bars that only has waitress, he was excluding them to some bars that are identified to do bad stuffs like prostitution and selling illegal drugs.

I wish you mentioned how the money works on the company it’s much more interesting. Twice have contracts to JYPE, Warner Music and Republic records. As far as I know JYPE have 50/50 & 70/30 distribution of money, which is fair between the management team& production team and the nine girls…but if we look how Republic records promote TWICE they weren’t doing that much to benifit money from them
