twice don’t need to do a girl crush concept to be versatile. they have shown us different styles of songs already it’s just that their “twice aura” remains the same and there’s no need to change that.

Girl crush concept is not better than a cute concept or more empowering per se.
A lot of people need to realize that.

But Twice said it themselves that they want to grow as an artist, they want to experiment some new stuff, we can’t just expect them to stick with cute concepts in their late 20’s they’re a grown ass woman and I think we should respect that :)))

The last guy might think that Japan is not an overseas country right? Because as far as I know Twice is the most popular girl group there, like bro Twice were the one who bring back to life the kpop hallyu in Japan.
A lot of international fans really think that being popular in USA is the biggest achievement and the only thing that matter in terms of international popularity and no ones gives the credit to other countries.
Also, do you really need a badass deat and concept to fell the empowerment? Honestly Twice has deep lyrics with a bright beat which is at leat to my ears pleacent.
Twice concept starting from Yes or Yes are elegant mature and honestly it suit them and make them iconic.

The biggest thing we can get here is that TWICE is indeed a household name in the K-pop industry. They have already made a huge mark in the industry and their impact is not negligible. It’s already a huge thing to be proud of, and ONCEs don’t need to be insecure about anything because they have made a remarkable success of their own.

I am a girl group stan mostly, so I enjoy the diversity in concepts, type of vocals and raps, music genres.
I like how Twice is stable as a group, and I think JYP in the future will let them have solo albuns, subunits and acting or variety gigs while still being active members of Twice. Jyp will make Twice be relevant and fresh for years to come, like idk 10 years of group.
I think Twice is the Nation group in Third generation and they will keep growing.
The forth generation still doesnt have a MAJOR YET big group in the level of sucess of BP/RV/Twice so, Twice is still the nation group in matter of influential power in Asia.
Those who dont like twice, there are a lot of other girl groups to enjoy, be it seniors or rookies. No need to Hate or Curse idols, if you dont like just ignore and move on

Plus, Jyp letting Twice date freely might normalize how fans and the media(cough allkpop dispatch naver etc) see Female idols. I think the idea of idols being virginal dolls is so desumane and hurtful, famous men and women deserve to have their personal lives

i’m not really a once (like i don’t have any album or vote for them) but it makes me so sad that people only see twice as visual group with catchy songs and good choreos. twice also write their own music and their songs have deep meaning. as a girl that grew up from teenager to adulthood listening twice, they help me to discovered my feminity and my own value as a woman. and, as idols, they have shown me that i didn’t have to be a badass or a mean girl in order to archive success. they’re inspirational in their own way but most of the people doesn’t talk about it.

Twice is currently SK’s National GG. JYPE formulated a cute, sweet and vibrant concept for them which appeals so much to SK snd other Asian Countries ( Twice members fits this to a Tee) . The problem with this though, is that cute and sweet concept only works up until a certain age.Challenge to them as an artist now is how they can effectively evolve without losing their original audience who loved them for their kawaii image …Anyway… cheering for TWICE 💯
