He voted for Trump twice. Now, he wants him off the ballot in 2024

TWICE!

Former Maine State Senator Tom Saviello tells CNN’s Boris Sanchez what changed his mind about former President Donald Trump after voting for him in 2016 and 2020. Saviello challenged Trump’s eligibility on Maine’s ballot in 2024. #CNN #News

We ALL want Trump off the ballot, dears. What we really want is for him to be in prison.

It is great when Americans come together to Make America Accountable Again. Thanks for the restoration in my faith, you sir are a gentlemen and obviously a scholar.

Every single time a Trump supporter complains that the voters should get to decide the President, that blocking Trump from the ballot takes away the choice of millions of voters, I want the person conducting the interview to point out that this is exactly what happened in 2020, that voters decided Biden would be the new President and Trump attempted to take away the choice of more than 81 million voters and remain in office even though he lost the election. I have not heard a single person make this rebuttal and it’s driving me crazy.

There are a lot of former Trump voters who feel the same way. Trump is an embarrassment to America.

Good on Tom Saviello. It’s hard to come to terms with someone you’ve supported but if you have no tipping point (and things like jan 6 was), that’s a problem for ensuring accountability and a healthy democracy.

I rejoice every time someone comes to their senses about the former guy! Restores my faith in Americans, person by person, vote by vote. Our democracy is at stake. 🇺🇸

You “don’t” let the voters decide when it comes to a man who’s already proven he “won’t” let the voters decide, Trump is literally why the 14th Amendment exists…USE IT!🙄

Of course, people should vote for candidates who are considered eligible and qualified. If anyone is ineligible and unqualified, there is no point in having them on the ballot, thus pursuing the “voters should vote” argument is mute.

The first words are “No person who engages in”, if Trump is a person then this applies to him as well.

All kinds of people get disqualified for the president. It’s really not that complicated

Swede here – Thank God that enough people start to act in the U.S! I believe that democracy will win (big) in the end.

Don’t sell America short!

The Maine Secretary of State didn’t make the choice. Donald did when he engaged in insurrection.
