I can not even eat fish sticks without almost losing my stomach.
I hadn’t had fish sticks in 30 years. I tried them about 6 months ago to reminisce. I’m not sure there was any actual fish in the breaded, flat cylinders. As a kid I remember a slight fishy taste and you could see the meat. These new things were a poor imitation of the things I had as a kid. And I didn’t like them back then.
We call them fish fingers in England fish sticks are something totally different over here.
Ms. Paul’s was the best fish sticks were the best ones to get and, used to like their COD Fillets to but, the best was when, my mom when, buy a package of COD Fillets and, breaded and fried them up herself! As, I got older my mom teased me a bit, because, I always liked eating fish on Fridays! I used to eat fish sticks and Fried COD sandwiches at school, yep on Fridays! Had some bad fish at school one day when, I was in middle school. I went to take a bite of my sandwich and, I hit my tooth on a bone, I didn’t get no recess that day! Then, I tried a few months later and, the fish was raw in the middle, I no longer would eat fish at school and, that’s when, I would only eat fried fish that my mom made.
I used to eat them as a kid but I tried them again a couple of years ago and, they’re gross. At least 45 years since i was a kid
Because I’m not a gay fish
I buy wild caught US fish/shrimp mostly, although US farmed catfish is okay with me. Nothing farmed in a third world country. Regulations are a good thing when it comes to food.
Your know what SOUTH PARK says about “fish sticks”!
I love fish sticks. I love to put fish sticks in my mouth. The bigger the fish sticks are, the better.
But if they’re beer-battered or from Costco than those will make me choke
I only eat fish I catch
in short… stop eating packaged food… period…
Fish sticks were good 25 years ago. Now they are chewy like gum, greasy and gross
Just say no.
No one is eating 3 servings of fried fish sticks a week, unless they are 4
