No. 3 UCLA softball took the first game of the series against Oregon State 6-2 at Easton Stadium on April 6, 2023. Freshman Jordan Woolery hit two home runs and drove in five of the six runs for the Bruins. Megan Faraimo threw 6.1 scoreless innings and struck out 10 Oregon State batters. Frankie Hammoude hit a two-run home run for the Beavers.
