I think You are rigth on the spot, You really are. The problem is, almost nobody has the experience or knowledge to acomplish that kind training, let alone the willingness to train until you just can not move one more inch.
It might work.however it seems to me that John is not a good person to prove that method as he Has gained a lot of muscles and created his physics on the basis of different week plan training. He eventually changed his training schedule but at this level of fitness 25minute workout can be enough to maintain previously Worked out muscles. All I want to say is that There is a need to prove this method by a person who just starts building his physic. Post scriptum. You should emphasize how you got your physique tho, as I am pretty sure I have heard you talk about working out for several hours a day in the past and running 80 mile weeks.
Some of us don’t workout for the physical aspects of it as much as the mental aspect of pushing one’s-self to the limit.
do you just use this Chest press machine or do you also do other chess machines / bench or dumbbells chest exercises?

I do the same thing just twice a week then the rest of my time on productive things
