I don’t think I’ve ever done a rib eating challenge before, but when I heard you could get your hands on a custom printed winner’s shirt (a collared shirt no less) by eating 5lb of ‘em, it didn’t take much for me to pay The Ship Inn in Surfleet a visit…
£30 to attempt and apparently only two people have ever managed to successfully complete it!

That was one of the best ones so far. When the staff is going to give you a tshirt before you try the challenge, you know you have made it. Shout out to the chef for not making it bigger once he recognized you. Great staff and patrons. Long Live the Beard!

Man that looked like an amazing plate of food and the banter with the staff/patrons made for great atmosphere. No wonder that guy stayed there 3 days a week for a year. I want to go there now too! Great vid as always Beard!!!

The lady that served you is exactly what I like to see when going in to a place this, down to earth and happy character. Food looked real yummy and rhubarb crumble on the menu, is a win win 🏆 good work beard
