I’d guess that he was tailgating large trucks to obscure his front license plate from oncoming police cars with license plate readers. Just in case that a warrant for his arrest was issued while driving back home to Pennsylvania.
The FBI requested they stop him so as to get a photo of his hands.
I know he thought it was over for him in this moment
The FBI has was tailing him all this time. This was just a check up to make sure he didn’t escape.

So this guy’s father has been in the Washington Idaho area of 8 miles of the murders when the murders were done? Are they saying his FATHER was there in Washington 8 miles from the murders the whole time? This is beyond bizarre. Is the father a suspect also? Why would he be that close and riding with the SUSPECTED murderer?
COP: “Sir, do you know how fast you were going?”

My guess is that they wanted to see if he might’ve had some type of marks on him. Black eye, scratch marks etc
That was a police officer that asked the question about airplanes?? Boy, it doesn’t take much these days to be trooper.
At least he had his head up paying attention instead of face down in his phone like most do now
I’m thinking these are interdiction stops and that’s why the cop didn’t even bother getting driver’s license etc.

It does not look like the car was flagrantly tailgating the truck. Technically yes, but cops rarely pull you over for that. Most likely, the cop was instructed to pull over the car (which was being tracked by LE) in order to gather info on the suspect and his destination.
Did anybody else read the headline for this one and just about lose their s*** as I did?
