Why Are A Lot Of Twice Fans Unstanning Twice?

I don’t think they stopped making cute concepts just because the fans would get tired maybe it’s because they’re all grown women now and they don’t want to act cute like I don’t know for sure but I’m pretty sure they’re adults and they don’t want to act cute just to please fans

No one is unstanning Twice. Obviously some people are but you make it sound bigger than that. Also, Twice is still doing cute concept. Fancy, Feel Special, More and More, and Alcohol-free where kind of in between cute and mature. The only really mature songs they did were ICSM and Perfect World. Talk that Talk is definitely a cute song. Twice never changed their concept, they evolved it.

First of all: No one is unstanning twice. Of course, they’ll always be people who unstan a certain group but once won’t. The general public just stopped caring to much about twice as there are many new groups like NewJeans,ive or LE SSERAFIM who are a lot more interesting. But their albums sales are better than ever and they started to be fandom focused first. (I know that this is more or less copy paste from what another ktuber said but I just wanted to mention this).
And second of all:
Twice still does cute concept. It’s just not the same style of cute. It is more of a mature concept but its not mature mature concept nor girl crush and it’s still close to cute

i feel like some people forget that twice are grown women now as much as i miss the cute stuff i love the growth in the concepts it feels like they grew up with me i was 8 during their debut loved it so much im 15 now and loving the new concepts

NO ONE IS UNSTANING TWICE LOL. For me I actually love their more mature concepts so I’m good lol but I love their cute ones too as well. I’ll never unstan this group, they’re too good and im emotionally invested in them. They care about their fans so I care about them and I thank them for that ❤️

I actually don’t see much people unstanning Twice… after the feels, alcohol free, I can’t stop me and all those hits who would? I feel like Twice still has that Twice feeling in their title tracks, as in they didn’t change totally at all

In my opinion I like both concept i mis the cute one to, but they can choose the concept they want and it doesn’t matter what concept they have I wil always support they work hard and struggled there trying to to their best to make the fans happy, but they dons have to because the twice members are al very nice and carrying and have good talent, the concept that they have don’t change the personality’s of twice members and there voice stil stays the same

Even though I do miss their cute concept, I will always support TWICE. They’re the first Kpop group I fell in love with. Even though I wasn’t there for them from the start, I’ll be with them till the end. ONCE forever. 🖤

i actually really like how their concept has matured with them while still keeping a bit of a cutesy vibe, to me it feels like it’s still similar just all grown up now, just like they are

I could never get tired of twice

i love their cute concepts i was so into cute things even until today, but i also loved they changed to mature. and i also love their recent cute-mature concepts and i just love being a once and i love love twice with everything they do 🫡 idc abt the onces who unstanned, it just means more chances of getting seats for their concerts!

If there’s such a thing as a “mature cute concept”, I think they could do it. Or pioneer it, who knows.
There really is something to be said for letting a group try on multiple concepts (especially as rookies, but Twice are far from rookie status)—it lets them broaden their sound. Compare Blackpink to Red Velvet. Blackpink only does girl crush concepts, and that makes all the songs seem repetitive and unoriginal. (If you don’t believe me, listen to HYLT and Pink Venom back to back and then tell me what you think.) Sticking with what you know might be the safe route for the group, but then you end up with the underwhelming Pink Venom. For me personally, with the exception of Lovesick Girls, all of my favorites are from their rookie era when a lot of the stuff sounded different (Whistle has such a different vibe from Boombayah, which has such a different vibe from Stay. I could go on). Contrast that with Red Velvet. They try on multiple concepts, some of which are vastly different. As a result, the music is more diverse and doesn’t feel quite so repetitive,. Even if RV and BP’s discographies were the same size, I would still make the argument that RV is the more well-rounded group because they do more than just one concept. The beauty of them changing concepts also means they can showcase a wider range of abilities than if they were stuffed into one concept. For example, I would LOVE a song from Lisa that didn’t sound like a rip-off from Kanye or Cardi B or whatever—pretty much all of Lisa’s raps sound very surface-level and vain, and it’s sad that YG won’t let Lisa show off a wider range of skill. The same goes for her dancing—if BP got to try more concepts, maybe we could see a wider range of Dance Queen Lisa’s talent.
Similarly with Twice, I don’t think they should completely do away with the cutesy stuff because that’s what they were built on, but letting them showcase a broader range of abilities and sounds is good for them.
