TWICE!
The Bachelorette Season 19 brought us twice the leads and twice the men but was it twice the fun? Well find out my thoughts in this review of Rachel and Gabby’s Bachelorette run in what I promise will include twice the Game of Thrones, twice the memes and half a review.

This video made with love for Game of Thrones, Sloppy Joes and The Bachelor franchise.
Tayshias season really did feel more complete than this!!
I know this could never happen, but I wish they’d let the eps be 2 hrs long with the first hr focusing on Rachel, the second hr focusing on Gabby (or vice versa) and their interactions with each other sprinkled in. I really think two bachelorettes (with the bachelorette standard formula) could’ve worked better if they treated it as filming two seasons at the same time rather than one. Sigh.
Looking back this season would have been so much better if they had just made a proper structure instead of insisting that they make their own rules. The truth is they were never in control and production did not want to take any blame in case something really bad happened.
I feel like Gabbi was having a blast and Rachel was crying every other second on screen.
Thanks for doing a great job of covering a dumpster fire of a season. I liked your coverage of the show better than the show. A+ for you.
I didn’t watch a single episode, just kept up with your weekly reviews and I feel 100% complete for this season. Lol Your videos were more entertaining.
I honestly feel bad for Rachel, it just wasn’t ever set up in her favor.
I liked Clayton’s season better than this season & we all know how that ended 🤣
They really went like: hey guys, great idea, we’re gonna have two bachelorettes to have this climactic moment at the end of the sucky Clayton season, but then we’re gonna put ZERO effort into delivering a coherent product, let alone something decent for our leads not to feel used like they just were on the Bachelor.
It used to be about glamour and fantasy in finding love, now it’s only drama. Nothing like the romantic escapism it used to be.
I only watch Paradise now – the Bachelor and Bachelorette are just exhausting to watch. Fantake’s summaries are sufficient for me haha.
Also, thanks for the Sloppy Joe’s advice. Haven’t had one in years, but now I feel compelled to try the pita pocket idea.
The one thing I really did like is that the drama was never between the two leads. I feel like most people expect or want there to be a cat fight and I’m glad the leads were classy towards each other
Should’ve had their own seasons or just Gabby’s. She was enjoyable to watch and Rachel was painted as emotionally immature and dramatic
I think the shows turn is 100% productions fault for wanting dramatic seasons as well as their poor casting choices
I didn’t like Rachel in Clayton’s season but I was going to give her a chance as a lead. And she managed to be a disaster. It became crystal clear this time around that she is in fact putting on a mask in front of the camera. Gabby was much more liked because she was authentic, she didn’t script what she said, she acted how she wanted to, you got the sense that who you saw on camera was the same woman off camera. Rachel on the other hand feels like she tries to be sweet and bubbly and cute on camera but behind closed doors is someone else. I’m not saying she’s a bad person, just that we didn’t see the real her.
Seeing Umi’s face photoshopped during the Sloppy Joe segment made me laugh. I don’t watch the Bachelor franchise but your recaps are good enough to keep me interested, thanks!
I seriously couldn’t watch any more of Rachel crying! So glad I could skip it on Hulu.
Thanks for the recap, it was so on point!
Your recaps are always so well done and spot on!!
Production: We need someone who is ready to propose!
Also Production: let’s cast a whole bunch of 20-year-old social media influencers.
Not to sound too much like Rachel but she had a point. They are their own worst enemy
