Maybe the distribution of lines is not the best but the song and Jihyo’s high note are beautiful

A lot of things could’ve changed and made the Line distribution better like Jeongyeon could’ve just gotten Nayeon 2nd chorus and jihyo’s 3rd chorus. Dahyun and chae could share Jeongyeons line in the post chorus Momo would get Dahyun and chae line in the first verse then tzuyu and Sana could interchange their parts

Momo almost always has the least number of lines but here if they went too far, it would have been the same if she hadn’t participated in the song 🙁

before anyone says anything ! this was recorded around or during sixteen, and tzuyu and momo weren’t originally supposed to be in twice, so their lines were randomly added in at the last second after the lineup changed. also, this was their debut album, so they were showing off positions. they already had a rap based song (do it again) and the title track had the dance break in it. this was where the vocal line had their chance to shine. now don’t get me wrong this is NOT fair at all, but there’s wayy too many misconceptions about the line distribution of this song !

This song is weird (and single) in some things:
– Momo only sing ad-libs
– Jeongyeon has only rap lines
– More than half of Mina’s lines are ad-libs
– Jihyo has more than 60s (actually this is so hard to happen again)
– Before the second chorus, 5/9 members not sing anymore (3/9 to before the first pre-chorus)
– Tzuyu don’t sing any complete phrase
– Chaeyoung and Dahyun don’t sing any English word
But this song still so good!
They have deep voices here. Their natural voices.
