The girl you really liked in the performance vid is Jihyo, the leader and main vocal of the group. I think everyone agrees that her stage presence is crazy
As someone commented already all the choreographies are made for 9 members. When a member is missing spacing , forms and the general picture seem off and asymmetric . Also TWICE ALWAYS has a couple of key moves in every choreography that are easy to replicate so the fans can enjoy dancing along to those specific parts.
Since you mentioned the spacing, I’m pretty sure they’re keeping the space for their absent member, Jeongyeon, open – that’s why they sometimes may seem a little far

The spacing is a little off until the videos because a member was missing. She was on hiatus for an injury and recovering so the whole picture being complete isn’t really there. Twice is known for their almost perfect formations
Some of the formations are asymmetrical coz there is a missing member lol. Theyre doing the original choreo with a member missing. Just lettin ya know hehehe
Gotta remember that Jeongyeon was not there for this. So that’s why stage left was over stacked by 1 member.

I’ve been waiting for this to premiere but I slept too early last night. Thank you for reacting to them by the way! You should also check out their Alcohol-Free and Scientist dance practice video. I feel like something you always need to think about with kpop groups is if you see a blank spot or someone is “too far” it’s not a mistake. These groups practice for 13+ hours a day when preparing for comebacks. they make mistakes but we don’t see them. Because it doesn’t make it to the final cut. Even the choreography is film as many times as they want until they are happy with it. So this time was during Jeongyeon hiatus. I’m happy to say she’s back now although I still hope she avoids choreography next comeback because I want her neck and Back to be healed completely.
Also anyone see Dreamcatcher‘s dance practice yet? I’m pretty sure they are borrowing a room here at JYP. The lighting, walls, and those curtains are all the same.
