Tzuyu has been the most underrated vocalist in twice even since debut…She’s still(UNFORTUNATELY) seen as ‘just a pretty face’…She’s always been one of the most stable members!! But until recently she didn’t get to show what she can really do because of the lack of lines she’s got…
She has lots of great lines in their discography and I’m excited to see your journey!!
FYI: Twice performed Precious Love as rookies on the show of it’s original artist Park JiYoon. It was composed by JYP in 1998 for her and JYP gave it to Twice with a new arrangement 🙂 On that show Jeongyeon was not part of the live performance because she injured her leg on the tv show Law of the Jungle when she got kicked by a horse…
you must check the live performance of Touchdown in Seoul, this is a song that the whole fandom loves. the live performance of this song is sooooo good
Greetings! What a nice project to react to pasts TWICE albums to appreciate all of their b-sides. You are right that “Touchdown” is great in live stages, and it was used to open a few of their concerts (it even got a rock remix for the TWICELIGHTS tour!).
As Dahyun is my bias, , I always noticed that most of the lyrics video are at times incorrect (mistranslations, parts attributed to wrong person – they got Dahyun’s parts wrong very often) since they rushed these out to get views. Touchdown beginning was by Dubchaeng, but the lyrics video you used attributed Dahyun’s part to all members instead.
One of the most accurate is this channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/randomk). You may want to see if you like its format, which is quite different from others.

The only reason why you’ve come across so many people parroting those lines about Momo & Tzuyu’s vocals is because the vast majority of people never listen to b-sides and base their opinions solely on the handful of title tracks they do bother to check out. Every comeback you’ll see people saying stuff like “OMG, Tzuyu improved so much!”, “I didn’t know Chaeyoung had vocals”, etc. even though they’ve been doing the same thing since day 1 lol.
Wow I forgot how bad the line distributions were back then 💀
