There will be no downside to Brexit, only a considerable upside. David Davis. 10 October 2016… #Brexshit

So the Tories did brexit to save £6.8bn a year in net contributions to the EU.
And as a result they lose 4% GDP or £112bn per year.

According to official data, tax receipt is 36,7% of GDP.

So the brexit loss is £41bn in tax intake year on year on year.
Could a Brexling please explain why this is ok, but the £39bn divorce bill payable only once, spread over several years, makes them so furious?
Taa.

The philosophy of the rich and the poor is this: “the rich invest their money and spend what is left. The poor spend their money and invest what is left”.

I am sick of saying I told you so. I am sick of seeing the government deny the damage brexit has done, I am sick of seeing pro-leave voters denying the damage Brexit has done or worse still acknowledging the damage but still insisting they wouldn’t have acted differently in hindsight and won’t admit they were wrong. The state this country is in is beyond a joke now, it makes parody and satire look like reality.

Time for outrage at the destruction of a once proud country. The UK in 2015 was a very different place with a very different future. Now the Gov itself is telling us the permenantly ongoing damage every year from now on is twice as bad as a global pandemic economic catastrophe. Every single person who promoted Brexit should be fired and ignored for ever. It is not possible for a person to be more wrong or more negligent in their post.

Don’t worry Rishi said we are getting the benefits, new trade deals and freeports.
Intresting thing is he never denied what the OBR said.
