Why is there Japanese line-up in MAMA? Because, it’s Mnet Asian Music Awards not Mnet Only Korean Music Awards, the way it was running all these years was wrong, if they want to put Asian in the name then Korea isn’t the only Asian country. So, seeing these Japanese line-up, yes, it’s an improvement as more people would get to know other sides of Asian music due to the incoming spotlight created by BTS & Justin Bieber.
About YG artists not joining. Well, isn’t that pretty obvious already and B.P hardly had any group activity this year (even so they trended all year, queens I tell you, 😍 QUEENS) , so what will they attend for? Just to show their faces, they already do that on fashion shows, they don’t need to appear on MAMA. And besides, I don’t think internet can handle seeing BTS and Blackpink in the same frame. 😂💜
