‘The police never came:’ Seattle mother attacked twice by same man

TWICE!

A North Seattle mother said she feels like she’s on her own in trying to protect her family. That after she said she was attacked twice by the same man while grocery shopping with her young children over the weekend.

Drastic steps are underway to shut down a motel that city officials call a focal point of crime. A change in ownership at the Smokey Point Motor Inn hasn’t made the neighborhood any better for Kim Winfrey, who owns The Pottery Nook across the street.

Starting Friday, the new statewide ban on single-use plastic bags goes into effect. This applies to businesses around Washington, including restaurants, retail and grocery stores. In a few days, these businesses must charge customers at least eight cents for large paper bags or thick, reusable plastic bags. A fee is optional for a compostable bag.

They should’ve proceeded with their Autonomous Zone to the point where they can no longer vote on state ballots…. so very tired of the city mandates infecting the rest of us.

I thought everyone wanted to defund the police have, community policing where there is a new approach to policing your city. How is that working out so far? No bail, no consequences nobody taking responsible for their actions. I thought legalizing drugs would make things better for the community. Yeh yeh go Social justice warrior.

After about 10 years of living in Seattle, I’ve decided to leave. Rent keeps going up, trash and graffiti everywhere, lots of homeless people and I can’t find a job that pays enough for me to afford my rent. This is not the Seattle I used to love. I hope it can go back to what it used to be.

The police never come. Unless you are in a liberal designated neighborhood you have no police protection. If you are in a liberal neighborhood I pity you.

Any expectations of safety is white privilege – That’s what the governor, the mayor, the city attorney and the city council said last year.

I mean what are the police supposed to do when they come out?? They arrest them and then let them go! Everything can’t be on the police! They aren’t superheroes! Like come on. The community needs help! Just because you ignore the encampments doesn’t mean they don’t exist!
