Evolution is one of the coolest parts about the Pokemon games, but not all Pokemon evolve in the same way. Some Pokemon evolve twice, while others evolve once, but what if all those Pokemon that do only evolve once, actually evolved twice? In today’s video we’re going to be exploring that concept, and looking at what a third stage could look like for a bunch of two stage Pokemon!

Yay!! I’m so happy you credited the artists this way. Names on screen AND the verbal mention. I remember people attacking me in the comments of an older video telling me how stupid and unnecessary it was. But I think it’s important! As much as loved Helioven in Cardinal, I can’t help but think on the fact that it’s missing the point if the Helioptile line, in that’s it’s a Solar Panel, and alludes to Solar Energy, rather than the Sun itself, so Electric/Normal actually makes sense for Heliolisk; that said, that’s not to say it *can’t* become like the Sun itself in a third evolution, or, to keep with the Solar Energy theme, maybe a _Solar Furnace,_ eh, eh? So while Helioven makes perfect sense as an Electric/Fire type, Helioptile and Heliolisk’s typings do make sense, at least in my book. I mean no offense, it’s just my two cents. And great work on the video, Hoops! 👍

A Darmanitan evolution would flip the competitive on its head lmao (especially a Galarian Darmanitan evo)
It’s still weird that Heliolisk is a Pokemon that’s inspired with the sun in mind, yet has the Dry Skin ability, which harms it in the sun.
Lumenion I like it’s design but I feel like if it was something you fought more often I would remember it more. You just never see it in-game and that’s a reason I think its forgotten about.
This is actually a good idea.
I’d love to see an evolution for Lickilicky. I know it has a BST of 515, but Porygon2 had the same BST and it still got an evolution. I think a third member of the Lickitung line might help people appreciate Lickilicky more as that awkward teenage phase many middle evolutions are seen as.
I actually love Jynx and Smoochum I wish they would get another evolution
Young/Adult ► Elder ► Ent/Alraune (AKA “Spirits of the forest”) thus making Eldegoss an immortal pokémon or a very long-lived one at least
I feel the exact same way about Blitzle!!! I have since it was revealed. Zebras are one of my favorite Pokémon and Zebstrika was a bit of a let-down

I’m totally down for a part two! There are so so many that need attention, like Dunsparse. I hope I wasn’t the only person that EXP-shared mine to the last moment, thinking it would become some amazing dragon 😩
I feel like for Pokémon like Onix, Haunter or even Magmar, there’s a different evolution waiting for them, I call this a true evolution, since you’d need items to evolve them, just level them up a bit, boom, true evolution
