Hey, it looks like that thin blue line gang statement is looking eerily accurate. The chief told us to do something so we did it without question. Now the officer can act in good faith in the first person and be protected but have the courts made a decision on officers acting in “good faith” based on another officers orders they themselves didn’t witness? I wonder how their protections are reduced.
I think the best part is the chief doesn’t even know that parking violations are issued to the registered vehicle owner and do not require ID. The worst he could legally do was issue a civil fine for the parking violation and call for a tow…….that sure would have sucked for the construction worker caught in this chief’s blind retaliatory hissy fit.

As a resident of that city, I would get as many people as possible to attend the next city council meeting and make their lives miserable till they fired these sorry excuses for police officers

There needs to be a publicly accessible, national database that record’s every in court and out of court settlement for police misconduct. This should also include legal cost.
If people see how much police miss conduct is costing them they would demand change.
